Mont d’Or is one of our specialities and is particularly appreciated by our clientele. It is a seasonal cheese, prepared with winter milk and results from the production of Comté (it has a shorter maturing time than Comté).
The bark of spruce is added to enhance the taste. Winter milk is less fruity and less flavourful than summer milk, so the taste and the personality of the cheese are brought out by the spruce bark. We offer this wonderful cheese whole or prepared - without the upper crust. It is available in three different sizes.
